The Cowboys Unexpected family
Book #2 ~ Cowboys of Eden Valley
Her dream–on her terms
With her own business, Cassie Godfrey is finally self-sufficient. But her plans are interrupted by four young orphans–and one persistent cowboy. If she’ll care for the children until their uncle claims them, Roper Jones will build Cassie’s house. To her business mind, the proposal makes sense. To her independent spirit, it’s a reminder of the commitments she’s promised to avoid.
Roper can’t help admiring Cassie’s pluck, even if he’s exasperated by her stubbornness. All he can offer Cassie is the love and acceptance she claims not to need. But dreams, like hearts, can change and grow…especially in a land made for brave new beginnings.
I will be reading this book, this year. I brought it after Christmas 2012 about one week into the new year, so it’s just a matter of time I begin reading this book. I was waiting to read this book after one of my Online Bible Studies ‘OBS’ was done with and just when it was done, I bought The Cowboy’s Surprise Bride and opened it. Unfortunately, this one is being held off for a while not long though.
Molly Allen lives alone in Portland, but she left her heart back in Tennessee with a man she walked away from five years ago. They had a rare sort of love she hasn’t found since.
Ryan Kelly lives in Nashville after a broken engagement and several years on the road touring with a country music duo. He can still hear Molly’s voice encouraging him to follow his dreams;
Molly, whose memory stays with him. At least he can visit The Bridge—the oldest bookstore in historic downtown Franklin—and remember the hours he and Molly once spent there.
For thirty years, Charlie and Donna Barton have run The Bridge, providing the people of middle Tennessee with coffee, conversation, and shelves of good books—even through dismal book sales and the rise of digital books. Then in May, the hundred-year flood swept through Franklin and destroyed nearly every book in the store.
Now the bank is pulling the lease on The Bridge. Despondent and without answers, Charlie considers the unthinkable. Then tragedy strikes, and suddenly, everything changes. In the face of desperate brokenness and lost opportunities, could the miracle of a second chance actually unfold?
The Bridge is a love story set against the struggle of the American bookstore, a love story you will never forget.
Threads of Grace
Threads of Grace is by Kelly Long. One of my favorite writers is Wanda E. Brunstetter. So if you are looking for a good book to read filled with faith and wonder into the Amish life style this is the place to go.
Grace’s autistic son needs a life that is safe and consistent. Seth wants to leave his flirting days behind him and settle down.
Deep in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania, the beautiful and weary Amish widow, Grace Beiler, is not looking for a husband—especially one so much younger than her. But handsome and smitten Seth Wyse stumbles upon a way to help her and they marry to keep Grace’s autistic son safe from his ill-intentioned uncle.
Grace soon discovers that she is far from immune to her young husband’s experienced charm and realizes that her first marriage has not destroyed her capacity for love.
Seth Wyse seeks counsel from his older brother, Jacob, when playing the game of pursuing his wife becomes more dangerous to both his heart and life than he ever imagined.
Yet God can give Grace and Seth a passion for family and each other that teaches them the ways of the Master Quilter through the tangled and tender threads of their lives.

The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club
Wanda E. Brunstetter is the author of this book and it was published in 2012. I love this book. I had pre-ordered and couldn’t wait for it to come out. Now that I have it, I haven’t exactly finished it. I have personally read two books by Wanda E. Brunstetter and love them: Love Finds A Home & Love Finds A Way(By the way, the book is at an all time low of 3.99 paperback right now: 2/19/2013). Take the journey with me and we will finish it together.

But as these beginning quilters learn to transform scraps of material into beauty; their fragmented lives begin to take new shape with the helping hands of each other and the healing hand of God.
The Tattered Quilt
Join Emma Yoder Miller, the Amish widow-turned-newlywed, as she leads another quilting class with a new group of unlikely students, all with tattered pieces of their lives that need mending.
