Sin & Righteousness

Good Day,

A commentary in my  Bible, The Evidence Bible, by John MacArthur refering to Romans 5:20 says,

“God’s grace cannot be faithfully preached to unbelievers until His Law is preached and man’s corrupt nature is exposed. It is impossible for a person to fully realize his need for God’s grace until he sees how teribly he has failed the standards of God’s Law. It is impossible for him to realize his need for mercy until he realizes the magnitude of his guilt.”

It’s important to know this isn’t just for others who aren’t believers in Christ Jesus, but for ourselves. Many times it takes us to go back and examine ourselves. We are humans. We have flesh and spirit; they war with each other as it says in Galatians 5:16-17. It’s alright to know you are human, because God knows this and we have an advocate who sits at His right hand, Luke 22:69. But that doesn’t mean to continue in sin.

It means to get a grip on with your life. God did not make us with a folly spirit. Most assuredly he has given us free will, Galatians 4:31. I’ll tell you, I am not a perfect person.

Yes, I just said that. If I was perfect I wouldn’t have a story to tell. I wouldn’t be relateable. I would be speaking hot air constantly and this blog, my life, would be meaningless. Nothing would mater and Satan would have won me over. If I have nothing to live for, how can I know the standards that were set by God?How would I know right from wrong. Well first, God set the standards (all the commandment, not just the ten) for me and you, for us. I wouldn’t be writing meaningful blogpost, singing meaningful praise & worship, leaning on righteous faith for my business, living, if I did not live by the standards set.

We don’t make the standards, God does.

We don’t have to do the hard work of thinking and thinking about what is right or wrong. God has already done that for us. We don’t have to do the hard work. God always lays down the foundation for us. Now, we do have to do the work, and God never ever asks us to do the work in our own strength. He tells us to rely on Him and only Him, Isaiah 40:29 and Psalms 105:4.

When we realize we aren’t the true saints we need to be in God, that’s when the real change begins. It’s hard, I know it is, but the work and the final product; the reward, is ever so sweet. It is amazing to finally take the plank out of your own eyes(Matthew 7:3-5) before someone else and see the hurt and grime built up on your vessel(1 Thessalonians 4:4), the carrying piece of the Holy Spirit.

We aren’t perfect, in fact our canvases were made blank so God can write our stories in its great magnificent detail. God is just that good. Remember to check yourself daily. Don’t be caught off guard ever, in as God comes back and you are not ready(Luke 21:36).

Encouragement for Today Devotions for Everyday Living By Renee Swope, Lysa TerKeurst, and Samantha Evilsizer

Hey Readers,

Encouragement for Today Devotions is a blessing in my morning madness. Encouragement for Today is a great collection of devotions placed in book format. The best pick me up and wisdom packed in just so many pages. The messages in this book range from everyday occurrence and mundane things to God in the midst of the deepest darkest places. Encouragement for today is a great for the everyday living person, who can’t get enough of God’s wisdom.

This book was very intriguing. At first I thought this would be a generic day to day devotion book but as always Proverbs31 knows how to hit it out of the park; this book isn’t day to day but person to person, situation to situation. This particular book challenged me to see things through a different perspective; Jesus can meet me in any situation if I just call on Him. So far, each devotion has had me thinking. I’ haven’t been through any of the women’s personal trials but I have my own and if their perspective can change to see the outcome in a better light then I know I can. The information from one devotional to the other was very well in balance, I would recommend this book to those going through trials and those who want a daily devotional with Jesus just because.

Can’t you believe it? One year and I’m still typing. I can’t believe it. When I first started I though this was going to be one way to change my life around, but man oh man, I didn’t know I was going to #stickwithit! It feels amazing to know just from blogging, I’ve opened up to many new things and creatively started many projects- which I have yet to finish!- and crafts.

My first ever blog in the stark of the morning: New Beginnings! Then a small post of heroism during the 2012Olympics. My first ever creation made was my home made planner right before my trip to Conroe, Texas. One of my first treasures found was an old typewriter. Right after was my first ever Online Bible Study with Proverbs 31 Ministries.  Next I decided to do the funniest thing ever and open up an Female Power page (♥Everything Girly♥) later on to be revamp through the year. I started showing more different creations like sewing and drawings on shirts.  I began posting encouraging words-bible verses- K-Love would post daily. I also started something up a year before my blog and that would be later incorporated into my blog… drum roll please… COMMANDY COMICS! Sometime after, I began doing You Version Devotionals. Some time after that, I started reviewing movies, my first was the Expatriate. Randomly, I would post lyrics to amazing Christian Music that really had an impact on me. I turned 20 years old soon after and shared it with my blog friends. NaNoWriMo started Nov, 1. Greater Obs Started. I began finding amazing wallpapers that spoke of God’s love and truth and shared them on my blog. I started up 25 days of Christmas music to celebrate Jesus Christ Birthday .

1 Year Strong!

I took up reading again, and began doing reviews on books. For a good couple of months after, I did this continuously and it was amazing then I had to move, AGAIN! I decided to blog about my experience since I didn’t have anything else to do; this moving process took up to five months; my whole summer. I read more, to keep my self busy and was excited to get into watching more Korean Dramas. I got into Serious About God Devotional towards the end of the ‘moving’ process. After Five months, I finally had a room to myself; After those last set of three months I finally Got Internet back and could blog again! I began making some changes and started thinking about school, once more. Somewhere in all the mess of getting things together and after moving process, I reached 20+ WordPress followers and 100+ link clickers from Facebook and elsewhere. I got back on track of things and started up some new things while the end of summer was coming to a close: Working Out, Good foods, Setting Up Henry, and Fixing my Commandy Comics to Bitstrip Base Cartoon-they look cool-. I also started Yes To God Obs on August 4th, 2013; it comes to an end on the 14th of September. During all the OBS(Online Bible Studies) I participated in Blog Hop Thursday.

183 Posts and Counting, 106 Comments, 17 Pages, 363 Tags,14 Categories, & A new designed blog header every month!

I’ve had an amazing year and I commemorate the next ear to an amazing, eccentric, radical obedient life and blogging fun to Jesus Christ. I pray for many more people to stumble across my page and find the love and passion of someone who wants to share the word of God. I pray for those already reading and skimming this blog. I pray for the words I spew to be like the mighty wind of Jesus. It will leave people stunned and encouraged to participate in each post. I give the blog to God and hopefully he’ll use it to His advantage, In Jesus Name, Amen.

To another wonderful Year, Kampaii!

Hey Everyone,

Recently for morning devotion and bible study I came across one verse in Exodus 40. Verse 38.

The Cloud and the Glory

34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in all their journeys. 37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up. 38 For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

This rang out to me. I mean think about. God is the lamp to their path. He needed something to keep sanction with them in. The Tabernacle, that could be erected where ever and when ever. God knew that they were going to come up against certain things that they would not be able to handle so he was with them 24/7. He was there in the tabernacle and traveling with them day and night in the functions noted in scripture. He lit the way for them. He was basically like a genie in a magic lamp, because we know the magic lamp was beautiful in it’s color of gold, then we also know that the tabernacle was gorgeous. God needed a clean house. He made sure there was laws they kept to keep the sanctuary holy and clean. You know God’s not a genie; nope, we get more chances than we know and if we opened our hearts and see the love and patience God really has for us we wouldn’t take Him for granted.

Spiritual Warfare Basics

Morning Everyone,

*Note*Now Every now and then when I come up to a SW Basic, Declaration, or Article, I’ll post them as a Devotional until P31’S OBS starts up in August. *Note*

Important First Actions

2. Engage in the proper preparation.
First Corinthians 14:4, 14 and Jude 20 instruct us to pray in the Spirit because it will edify us and charge us up in the Holy Spirit (give us power to pray more effectively). This time in the Spirit can also be done by singing as you spend time in worship, praise, and thanksgiving. Recalibrate your spiritual atmosphere by playing worship or anointed instrumental music. This will help you to break through spiritual barriers and barricades and to move beyond the veil into the secret place (Ps. 91).The following prayer often helps me enter into the secret place during my times of worship. Perhaps you may
want to pray it as well.

My heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I enter into Your gates with
thanksgiving and into Your courts with praise. I bless Your name.
You are great and greatly to be praised. I worship You and adore You.
(Continue to worship God, and thank Him for health, strength, etc.)
I thank You, Father, for clothing me in a robe of righteousness, which
covers me because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. It is in Him I live
and move and have my being (Ps. 100:4; Isa. 61:10; Acts 17:28).

3. Rid yourself of encumbrances.
According to Hebrews 12:1, a few other actions are needed as you prepare for spiritual warfare. You need to make sure you confess your sins (Ps. 24:3–4; Prov. 28:13), examine yourself and determine if you need to repent of something or release (forgive) someone, and cast your cares and burdens upon the Lord (1 Pet. 5:7). Remember, you do not fight spiritual battles in your own strength; you fight them in the strength of the Lord.

Use These Notes Well and remember to praise God every Chance You Get! Notes from: The Rules of Engagement by Cindy Trimm, pg 3.

Into Exodus

Good Morning,

Since the beginning of July I’ve started a bible study that is supposed to take me year round with the Spiritual Warfare Bible published by Charisma House which you can find at CBD.COM or Walmart.COM. It’s more than just spiritual warfare. This devotional Bible teaches you how to get a firm grip on your life and how to keep it from falling into the hands of the enemy and today I want to share with you something that has impacted me on one of the days through this week.

Preparing for Spiritual Warfare: Article

Plugging Into The Power Source

  • Prayer plugs us into the power source.
  • Go gives grace to the humble.
  • The Lord’s presence was David’s joy.
  • There are many great warriors being trained in the school of the Holy Spirit… They learned through experience and sometimes through failure.
  • Christianity is called the great confession.
  • We bind what is already bond in the heavens. We loose what is already loosed in the heavens.
  • The Word of God is a treasure chest of wisdom and knowledge.
  • Every believer who desires to enjoy liberty and victory must take time to study the Word of God and ask for revelation.
  • God has promised to make us joyful in the house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7).
  • Those who enjoy the results of prayer will enjoy an exciting life.

These are the notes that I highlighted in my SWFB this little article section was from pages 1-4 of Prayers That Rout Demons by John Eckhardt.

This bible has been a whirlwind effect on me. I feel like this change is the best start I could ever choose for myself. Thank God. When we can sit down with God for a few minutes or hours every single morning and start our day off with searching through God’s word and building out faith, we will begin to see the progress we’ve made and it won’t be a regret.
