Fuchsia Pop Kit

To you,

I know it’s been over three months. I had a blog post ready mid march and then forgot how I wanted to finish it since it was a #faith topic. My Bad!

But, for the next part I am here to talk about SPARKLE POP! What is sparkle pop you say? Well, Sparkle Pop is a new line of small functional planner kits. Yes, Yes! You heard right.

Sparkle Pop kits have “faux” glitter accents to them. The first one will be Fuchsia Pop and will consist of a dark pink “Fuchsia” color.

Fuchsia Pop Kit “Faux Sparkle Pattern”

These kits are small so they won’t come with a lot of added full weekly kit juice like tons of Icons and decorative boxes or big washi strips. The kits are fit for ECLP boxes but can be used for any layout, such as MAMBI, Inkwell Press planner, Plum Paper Planners, also horizontal layouts and personal planner layouts.

If you want all that shabang, you will need to buy the full Fushia Pop Kit in my shop that will launch in a weeks time, prices haven’t been decided yet.

Save the date:  June 14, 2016

SHD~What’s In Creation?

Hey Everyone!

So I’ve been working on producing my own inserts for Sweet HoneyComb Designs. The first post for inserts will be a budget sheet. I placed honey in this budget sheet. I think she just looks too adorable. There will be sold: Disposable and Re-useable.

The Re-useable will be laminated and be tabbed as a divider. With a re-useable budget
sheet you can use marker and wipe off with windex or an alcohol based white-board spray and re-use it for another month. The disposable one will be plain paper. Or for storage purposes too.

The back will have regular note paper for jotting notes and doodling.

These will probably come out sometime in March. I’m excited for this. I plan on putting Beeya in her own as well, so there will be options to choose from. Not to mention, I was planning on adding another character to SHD. I wonder what he or she will look like?!

DIY~Paperclip Bookmark

Hey Everyone,

Over the last two weeks I had watched a very cool YouTuber who is amazing when it comes to business and planning organizational things, Alexis aka Miss Trenchcoat. One of her older video is DIY bookmarks. The method she uses is printed bows and super glue, but still cute and useful.

I decided to try it out and I made one using an old purchase of 3D flower stickers and a Smash Paperclip.

I used Gorilla glue to keep the two pieces together and to hide the paperclip and the excess of material I placed an ‘A’ for Annie on the back.

This was a fun small project to do it took 30 minutes total to make. Gorilla Glue takes a long time to set, so most of the time it took is based on the glue setting.

I hope you guys try this out, it’s really fun. One of the next posts I will make is going to be about the jumbo Spongebob paperclip bookmark I made for my sister Tina.

Project: Large Granny Square

Hey You!

It’s always good to get back into the groove of anything creative. November 2014 I picked up on crocheting. In my grasp, it’s not too hard; but knitting was a bit more tedious for me. I picked up on crocheting using the granny square as my ‘try out’ lesson and the lesson from YouTube’s Melanie Ham <I♥Stitching>.

I started off with her tutorial on single stitch and double stitch. After, I grabbed the new yarn I bought and went onto something I thought would be an easier project: The Granny Square. I usually pick up learning fast, so I completed about 5 to 10 rows in two hours with constant playback starting from learning SC & DC to 5-10 rows of Granny Square.

The overall length is from my chin to ankles; btw, I’m 5’5″. So the size is a nice lap blanket or throw blanket. It took me from November to February to finish, my reasons being I became pretty darn lazy. Most weeks I wouldn’t work on it. I believe the sheer length ‘that should have been’ was my reason for not wanting to work on it most weeks.

Originally the size was supposed to match the top of a queen bed. *Scoffs* Yeah I know. My eldest sister asked for it to be that big, but I just couldn’t force my self to work on it much longer.

The flowers on the corner of the blanket I made using another YouTuber’s video. HappyBerry Crochet ‘s How To Crochet A Mini Flower. Happy Berry has very cute animal, flower, little added things crochet videos and because the video quality is great, learning is easy-peasy-lemon-squeazy!

I am a firm believer of keeping busy. Whether it’s reading, sewing, crocheting, dancing, scrap-booking, any hobby that suits you best. There can never be too many to keep you up an at’em!

  •  Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Romans 12:11
  • Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger. Proverbs 19:15
  • And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. 1 Thessalonians 5:14

Above all, be patient. With yourselves and with others. When crocheting, it takes sometime to get used to and that’s for every new design you learn. So remember to be patient and take it easy.

I am working on another blanket and my post for that will be up Thursday after this.

Wow!

Can’t you believe it? One year and I’m still typing. I can’t believe it. When I first started I though this was going to be one way to change my life around, but man oh man, I didn’t know I was going to #stickwithit! It feels amazing to know just from blogging, I’ve opened up to many new things and creatively started many projects- which I have yet to finish!- and crafts.

From…

My first ever blog in the stark of the morning: New Beginnings! Then a small post of heroism during the 2012Olympics. My first ever creation made was my home made planner right before my trip to Conroe, Texas. One of my first treasures found was an old typewriter. Right after was my first ever Online Bible Study with Proverbs 31 Ministries.  Next I decided to do the funniest thing ever and open up an Female Power page (♥Everything Girly♥) later on to be revamp through the year. I started showing more different creations like sewing and drawings on shirts.  I began posting encouraging words-bible verses- K-Love would post daily. I also started something up a year before my blog and that would be later incorporated into my blog… drum roll please… COMMANDY COMICS! Sometime after, I began doing You Version Devotionals. Some time after that, I started reviewing movies, my first was the Expatriate. Randomly, I would post lyrics to amazing Christian Music that really had an impact on me. I turned 20 years old soon after and shared it with my blog friends. NaNoWriMo started Nov, 1. Greater Obs Started. I began finding amazing wallpapers that spoke of God’s love and truth and shared them on my blog. I started up 25 days of Christmas music to celebrate Jesus Christ Birthday .

1 Year Strong!

I took up reading again, and began doing reviews on books. For a good couple of months after, I did this continuously and it was amazing then I had to move, AGAIN! I decided to blog about my experience since I didn’t have anything else to do; this moving process took up to five months; my whole summer. I read more, to keep my self busy and was excited to get into watching more Korean Dramas. I got into Serious About God Devotional towards the end of the ‘moving’ process. After Five months, I finally had a room to myself; After those last set of three months I finally Got Internet back and could blog again! I began making some changes and started thinking about school, once more. Somewhere in all the mess of getting things together and after moving process, I reached 20+ WordPress followers and 100+ link clickers from Facebook and elsewhere. I got back on track of things and started up some new things while the end of summer was coming to a close: Working Out, Good foods, Setting Up Henry, and Fixing my Commandy Comics to Bitstrip Base Cartoon-they look cool-. I also started Yes To God Obs on August 4th, 2013; it comes to an end on the 14th of September. During all the OBS(Online Bible Studies) I participated in Blog Hop Thursday.

To…

183 Posts and Counting, 106 Comments, 17 Pages, 363 Tags,14 Categories, & A new designed blog header every month!

I’ve had an amazing year and I commemorate the next ear to an amazing, eccentric, radical obedient life and blogging fun to Jesus Christ. I pray for many more people to stumble across my page and find the love and passion of someone who wants to share the word of God. I pray for those already reading and skimming this blog. I pray for the words I spew to be like the mighty wind of Jesus. It will leave people stunned and encouraged to participate in each post. I give the blog to God and hopefully he’ll use it to His advantage, In Jesus Name, Amen.

To another wonderful Year, Kampaii!
