This is a great testimony. After watching this video I started to think about all the aesthetic views many have about Heaven. I could never understand why many people always thought of God as just Holy and Mighty. Then God helped me realize the family unit is so broken theses days. As humans we learn of the family unit and everything is based off of this unit. The father, the mother, the children. If we don’t grow up with a father in our households, we don’t understand God’s role. We seem to forget that God is Father.
God wants to have a relationship with His children. We are His children and He wants to love on us, to shower us in love and gifts, He wants to show us what love really is. God is love, He’s everything amazing and glorious. There is no denying that God is Holy and mighty. He is above all the greatest and it roles off of Him in constant waves.
I’ve always wondered why many people have a problem with praise and worship. I like to think of praise and worship as something that would come out naturally. We love God so much when we open our mouths it should be like “throwing up rainbows!” That exact image is what it should feel like at least. Praise & Worship should be like second nature. Don’t ever think that it’s hard to do because if you love Jesus, it naturally will come out, especially if you are not holding back.
Praise & Worship is important.
Love is important.
But most of all Repent for your sins.
God love’s us but we will be punished if we sin. In a family unit, the parent’s disciplines the children when they do something wrong. This is the same with God. Don’t think just because you are a Christian you will escape punishment for sinning. That is completely wrong and delusional. That train of thought is the same thing that will cause you to be no different from the way you were before you confessed your sins and realized Jesus as Lord; just like the world except more haughty.
Above remember to put on the Armor of God to help you withstand the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:10-18 (ESV)
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
