Today I’ve made some greatly needed progress, and glad that I have. I have,
- Made it to the long sought of end of book 2 of The Everard’s Legacy
- and completed day 2 of She Reads Truth~Songs Of Ascent.
Hope is our good gift – our reward – from our great and loving God. And it comes out of suffering.
This was a quote from the bible study and the main read was Psalm 120
Psalm 120 (KJV)
1 In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.
2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
Reading the devotional content made me realize I wasn’t the only who ever came up short and felt hopeless. Made me believe that I could go on with the hope God has placed in me and to realize that He was there all along. Good things too. I’m glad I see the progress and I’m not just going blindly.
