The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club by Wanda E. Brunstetter

The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club was an amazing read, the right amount of Amish and English Lifestyle combined. The book was centered around seven, including Emma Yoder, unlikely people. A married couple, a biker, a pastor’s wife, a widowed father, and a troubled young lady, and an old widow who teaches them all how to quilt and sew the seems together through their problems and on their quilts, while she figures through her own. The book brings a heap of faith and exploring bends through characters.

My favorite part was towards the end when they all came together and had a happy ending. There weren’t any parts that didn’t catch my eye, all in all the book was well rounded. With so many characters, my beginning thought was ‘it sure seems like a lot of characters to get around and to tell out each of their stories.’ but it wasn’t so. The book took all parts into account and even brought the past to connect in to future within their presents. The message of this book really taught me how to hold on to the promises God has laid before me and to always look to Him, when I feel miffed or don’t know what to do.

This book is 5 of 5. I recommend it and it also comes with a quilting pattern. Also, if you would like Wanda B. has also designed a play plus, there is another book coming out in this ones wake called, The Tattered-Quilt in august this year.

Can’t wait, Truly Excited,

Annie ^_^
