Once Upon A Winter’s Eve is by Tessa Dare and is the apart of the Spindle Cove Series number as book 1.5. This book brings the depth of shame and hidden secrets to the forefront right away. The female lead character decides to wist away to spindle cove because of a folly- or not so much so- turn of events. She is soon sure to get over her grief quickly when a stranger falls to her feet in a heap of cold-bloody mess. She has to find out who this guy is before it’s too late. Too late for what, exactly? This book gives off the near intent of danger but a well written language of attempted love and a nice edge toward real-life problems, with less drama. I recommend for anyone who wants a short read to pass the time. It is bearably short but nice. Second point of view always makes historical romance sound amazing so get into there thoughts a take a ride around spinster… I mean Spindle Cove.
