Week 3:::> Greater OBS

Assignments Week 3

Sunday~ Prepare for the week. Make a plan now. Plan when you will do your Bible study each day. You WILL LOVE the chapters this week. They both feature someone we all know and love, Lysa TerKeurst!  Yay!  So get prepared, pray for God to speak to you, and let’s have a great week of study!

Monday~ Read Chapter 5, Digging Ditches. Lysa TerKeurst’s adoption story is in this chapter! Visit the OBS Blog Community to hear my thoughts on this chapter and to share with others about Greater.

Tuesday~ Answer the Discussion Questions for Chapter 5 in the back of your Greater book.  Stop by my blog today and let us know what ditches you are digging right now.

Wednesday~ Let’s keep on reading. Moving on to Chapter 6, A Little Oil.  I love this chapter. Read it and see if you don’t love it too. :)  Then come see me on my blog and tell me about it.

Thursday~ Greater Blog Hop Day!!!  Yippeeee!  Let me just go on the record as saying, “We have excellent bloggers here!”  I have been so impressed and inspired!  And so have others! Great job, keep it up!

This week’s topics:

1.  GOD-fidence.  What are your thoughts on this week’s reflection verse?

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. ~ Hebrews 11:1 NLT

2.  Baby Steps. What small steps of faith do you feel God is calling you to take? What are some ways you can begin taking those steps?

3. Open Hands. The widow only had a little oil to offer…what little thing do you have? How can you use that to glorify God in a big way?

Friday~ Complete the Discussion Questions for Chapter 6 in the back of the book. Then (you know the routine by now I’m sure), stop by my blog and share your “widow’s oil” with us.

Saturday~ Love sharing Christmas with each other!

Week 1 we shared traditions and ideas.

Week 2 we shared Christmas recipes.

Week 3 we will share how we celebrate a Christ Centered Christmas.  Come by my blog and share how you keep Christ in Christmas.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance
about things we cannot see.       ~ Hebrews 11:1 NLT
